Snowmobile enthusiasts can take off from the front door and sled to Harts Pass and into the Okanogan National Forest.

If you ski Nordic style -- whether you're an intermediate or an expert -- you owe yourself at least one trip to the huts of Rendezvous Outfitters. This is a semi backcountry experience and even though this is a groomed trail, snow and weather conditions can change rapidly and you should be able to ski all conditions.
Our huts are simple and cozy frame buildings that sleep up to 8 people. Each is equipped with a full Kitchen (propane cook stove, pots, pans, utensils) a wood stove heater and fuel, sleeping pads, propane lights, and a sanitary outhouse.

The Mazama Store is just 5 minutes away, while the charming shops and restaurants of Winthrop are within an easy and scenic 15 minute drive.
Firefly features three levels: the main level has the living room, kitchen, dining area, and master bedroom with a full bathroom that is also accessible from the kitchen. The upper level features two bedroom and a common bathroom with a tub and hand shower. One bedroom has 2 decks and 2 beds (one queen and one twin). The other bedroom has a double bed and one deck. The lower level has a large sleeping area, full private bathroom, and sitting area with a television and access to the back yard.
The house is completely surrounded by a fence, making it perfect for pets and children, and has a covered wraparound porch. It also features satellite TV, DVD players, and portable air conditioners or swamp coolers in each room except the lower-level bedroom, which remains comfortably cool year-round.

Beautiful gardens and gorgeous grounds surround this large home in the Mazama area of the Methow Valley, just a short drive from the National Forest. The home provides comfortable lodging accommodations for a small family but is roomy enough for larger parties. Wooded and secluded, it provides both privacy and exceptional views of Goat Wall.
In the summer, enjoy hiking, rock-climbing, mountain-biking and other outdoor activities. Relax in the evenings on the garden benches, enjoying the views, or take a stroll on the trail running along the back of the property. In winter, this MVSTA trail becomes a groomed cross-country ski trail that joins over 100km of other groomed trails in the 2nd-largest cross-country ski trail system in the country. For those who prefer snowmobiling, the Yellow Jacket Sno Park is just a few miles up the road.
The main level has a full kitchen with dining table for 10 and seating for 4 more at the breakfast bar, living room area with gas fireplace, wrap around deck, a bedroom with queen bed, and a full bathroom.
The spacious loft offers additional sleeping and sitting areas with beautiful views out a sliding glass door and balcony area. The loft has 1 queen and 1 double bed, plus a queen futon for sleeping. The sitting area is perfect for games, additional eating space, or just to visit.
A great basement room offers additional sleeping with 2 double beds, a twin murphy bed and an additional sitting area with full size futon, oversize pillows, and TV/VCR. All linens are provided.
