This historic Inn serves comfort, from the great room with its massive stone fireplace and warm cozy chairs, to our hearty and healthy full breakfast in the sun room, all in the ambiance of past.
Guests are all greeted by music and a crackling fire in winter, or beautiful gardens in the summer by award winning garden designer Melissa Larson.
We serve a multi-course, healthy, hearty breakfast with homemade jams, chutneys, and home-pressed apple juice, included with your lodging reservation. We like to surprise our guests with special treats from our large organic orchard and garden. Expect to see berries, fruits, and vegetables in season.
Each of the seven guest accommodations is individually appointed, with handmade iron beds piled deep with European style comforters to snuggle under, hand-crafted quilts, and down pillows. and wood antiques. Four rooms have private tiled bathrooms/showers, and three share a tiled full bathroom. In addition, the rooms all have pedestal sinks. The tiled bathrooms boast comfortable fluffy towels and spacious walk-in showers. You can always look forward to fresh flowers in your room and books to curl up with. All rooms have Air-Conditioning.
A large, cozy TV room/library, with an extensive collection of videos to enjoy, is available to guests. The popcorn is on us.

Come relax in our deluxe cabins for two set in the beautiful Methow Valley and a nice walking distance to the Old West Town of Winthrop. Winthrop Mountain View Chalets is open year 'round and is close to the trail system for some of the best hiking, biking and skiing in the country.
Each deluxe cabin for two has a queen bed with new pillow-top mattress, sofa, TV, Microwave, Coffee Maker, Refrigerator, Toaster, Dishes, AC, Electric Heat, a Full Bath, Country Decor, and a Deck for a quiet place to relax with a good book.
Cabins #4 and #6 also have a pull-out sofa that can accommodate an additional guest (extra-guest fee applies).
Local outdoor activities include skiing, snowmobiling, horseback riding, golfing, biking, hiking, fishing, river rafting, swimming, and hot air balloon rides. You are also invited to sample the local shops and restaurants in Winthrop.
Winthrop Mountain View Chalets is a smoke free environment, but smoking is permitted on the deck. Sorry but we are unable to accommodate pets.

Northern Lights has 3 bedrooms, two downstairs and one upstairs, and 2 bathrooms in a spacious rambler style layout. Enjoy a king bed and large en-suite bathroom in the master bedroom, a queen bed in the second bedroom, and 2 twin beds in the upstairs bedroom. Garage access provides guests with room for recreational gear and includes indoor ski storage and a ski waxing station.

Owl Crossing is the vacation condo you've been looking for! Situated on a bluff above Highway 20 at the South edge of Winthrop, it has cross valley views and is just 1 mile from the downtown shops and restaurants, and 3/4 mile from the Winthrop xc-ski trailhead. Pets are welcome.
This comfortable rambler style townhome has 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. Two bedrooms are on the main floor, each with a Queen bed. The third bedroom is upstairs with 2 Twin beds. There is also a pull-out sofa in the living room, making lodging accommodations possible for up to 8 guests.
If you need additional lodging, check out Raven's Roost next door to Owl Crossing. The two condos together can accommodate up to 16 guests.

Small but well-appointed and cutely furnished in cottage decor, you will enjoy a fully stocked Kitchen, dining table, living area, sleeping area and private bathroom. Perfect for a Twisp getaway for a couple or a couple with a small child (a sleeping pad is available for a child).
The owner lives in a separate adjacent house, but a screen affords privacy. A small barbecue is provided for guests, and a fire ring surrounded by chairs is available for use (provided no burn ban is in effect). Catch the evening breezes and enjoy the view on the quaint front porch or enjoy dinner at the nearby Twisp River Pub or one of the other restaurants in Twisp -- the choice is yours!

Raven's Roost is a beautiful 3 bedroom 2 bathroom, rambler style vacation condo located at the south edge of Winthrop. You can ski and bike just minutes from the door. The ski trail access is less than 3/4 miles away. There are great little hills for sledding during the winter.
Two of the three bedrooms are on the main floor with the third bedroom upstairs. The living room, dining room, fully-equipped kitchen, laundry room, and 2 bathrooms are also on the main floor.
Raven's Roost can provide lodging accommodations for up to 8 guests.

Rock'n River sits along the banks of the Methow and Lost River and offers amazing views. This great get-a-way provides perfect lodging accommodations for couples, families or groups. Enjoy an afternoon of lounging in the sun from your own private river side or enjoy a creative afternoon in the "rock garden" painting rocks. Leave right from the log home and hike or bike for hours on end in the North Cascades National Park or the Pasayten and Okanogan Forests. Enjoy the cooooooool Methow River (river does dry to just a trickle by August in spots each year). During the winter months you can ski directly from the log home on the river in ten feet of dry powder snow or drive 4 miles to get on the groomed ski trails. Snowmobiling is allowed on the river as well as the groomed snowmobile trails across the street at Yellow Jacket Snow Park. Hart's Pass (the highest point you can drive to in the state) is right up the road 13 miles.
Rock'n River is furnished with all the comforts of home. Enjoy lounging in front of the river rock fireplace (firewood is provided) while visiting in the living room on cushy couches. The views from the wall of glass in the great room make you feel as if you are outside with nature. Stone's Throw is a beautiful mountain lodge set on 4 secluded acres in Mazama. Located right on the MVSTA trails, you can xc-ski or mountain bike right from your door! Or take a relaxing stroll along the Methow river, just a short walk away.

You are just a short walk to the Methow Community Trail, the Methow River, and Goat Creek. A full home-cooked breakfast awaits you, and is made with many fresh local and organic ingredients including some from our own garden.
We love horses! Our corral is made available for guest horses and there are amazing riding opportunities right from the front door.
We also make our kitchen available to guests (for a nominal $5 fee).
Guests can enjoy a fire-pit and BBQ down by the river. Firewood is provided but bring your own charcoal.
The Virginian Resort provides inexpensive and rustic lodging in Winthrop. Located along the edge of the Methow River, only half a mile from the downtown shops, it provides fun lodging accommodations for the whole family. Features a variety of rooms and a western motif.
Please note that the Virginian is currently in the process of renovating the pool and it will not be available during 2010.
